MAERZ IN PARIS

ILA conference 2022
Postponed for two years, due to Corona, the long-awaited International Lime Association conference took place in Paris from 12 to 14 October 2022 - in the very city where it was founded 50 + 2 years ago.
The conference was once again the ideal platform for an exchange of ideas on important topics for the lime industry. Presentations on safety and climate change were at the top of the list.

The brand «maerz» has a new look
On 12 October, we launched our new website and gave Maerz Ofenbau AG a new "face". It was a great moment for all of us - in several months of work, we not only restructured, formulated and prepared our offer and content, but also challenged our self-image. Our aim was to make our values visible to our business partners. We believe that we have succeeded and are now optimally represented in the digital world. We are eager to know what you think.

WITH A DAILY CAPACITY OF 5,000 TONS IN INDIA

A new superlative lime plant
With its capacity of almost 5,000 tons of quicklime per day, the new plant will be the largest lime plant ever built on a greenfield site, surpassing even the recently completed plants in China. Maerz is supplying engineering and material & equipment for 6 R5S carbide-gas-fired kilns, each with a production capacity of 800 tons per day.
